Of course they do. There'll be always bands that play "evil" songs and bands that play "good" songs. But people think that rock is evil music but it's not true.

Texts are depend on band's genre. I don't think there's a grindcore band that sings about love. And it will be to strange to hear a power band that sings about necrophilia .
I don't like thrash metal very much (except some melodic bands like Megadeth). It sounds too brutal for me. I like melodic music: heavy, power, melodic death/black metal and so on.

Hm Scorpions? I heard only one song - Wind Of Change. It's really not bad and some time it was my favorite song. But I still listen black metal Many people love Scorpions (ы, both of my parents do)) and I'm about to understand why. It is melodic music which "touchs the soul" but I think that their time is gone and other groups came for change.

I don't think so. Times change, but music doesn't. I always will love their music. I know many people say "this is old music, it sucks" but it's bullshit. Music can't be old or new. Music is just a sequence of sounds.
